In 2008 he assumed as Executive Managing Director of CBRE in Chile participating actively in the Company´s management and direction.

In 2007, Mr. Lira led the merger and integration of the subsidiary Trammell Crow with CBRE partners in Chile, forming CB Richard Ellis CHILE S.A.

CBRE established a branch in Chile in 1999, when CBRE acquired LirAntunez Propiedades, an outstanding brokerage company in Santiago, which had been formed in 1994 by their partners Joaquin Lira and Carlos Antunez.

In 1973, Mr. Lira joins Montalva Quindos Co., one of the oldest real estate brokerage Companies in the country, as representative of this Company for over 20 years.

His working life begins in 1967 when he was hired as a responsible of the Sales Department in Caffarena Textile Industry, becoming Commercial Manager in 1970, position he held for over three years.

Graduated as Commercial Engineer at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, his secondary education was at Verbo Divino´s  School in Santiago. In the recent years, he has specialized in Administration and Finances, Human Resources, Real Estate Assets and Project Valuation.

He is member of ACOP (Acop National Chamber of Real Estate Services) and  AMCHAM, the American Chamber in Chile.
